Our brand is in hyper growth mode, and we’re looking for an associate brand manager to help drive the future of olika.
Brand strategy & analytics
Supports development and implementation of the brand strategy based on strong business analytics and actionable insights.
Lead consumer research projects to uncover competitive insights.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current environment and industry trends, oversee category and competitive analysis, stay abreast of latest competitive activities and sales.
Leads brand business analysis effortsContinuously monitors business and brand health performance using internal and external data resources to identify issues and opportunities to drive both brand development and volume performance.
Assists with ad-hoc reporting, recaps, and preparation for internal & external meetings.
Assists with brand sustainability and impact initiatives.
Assists in briefing agencies on communication objectives, advertising, and media plans.
Get hands on to help execute and bring to life full-funnel integrated marketing plans, partnering with internal & external stakeholders including agencies, ecommerce, omni-marketing, corporate communications, sales and other amyris brands.
Acts as the critical bridge to communicate marketing initiatives to sales, amyris corporate communication, ecommerce, customer care, operations, and global marketing.
Project manages marketing activations inclusive of pm tools (asana), team meeting agendas and scheduling.
Assists with day-to-day brand budget management, po creation and invoice processes.
Ensures that dollars are allocated and spent in an efficient and effective manner within budgetary parameters.
Helps lead the innovation process by identifying key market trends or gaps in the portfolio and develops them into products that meet consumer needs in new ways and drive growth.
Sizes and scopes new opportunities through the development of rich consumer insights, robust forecasts, and business models to prove out roi and size of prize.
Supports development and execution of innovation projects.
Leads the npd sample process with our internal team and contract manufacture.
Partners closely with project management to ensure on-track innovation initiatives from ideation to launch.
Omni-channel marketing & sales support:
Develops best in class digital shelf across retail with a++ content packages for all classes of trade.
Assists the omni-channel lead in programming at retail both in-store & online within the retailer’s media + shopper ecosystem.
Partners with alternative sales channel leads & creative director to develop compelling marketing collateral and programs.
Comfortable with operating in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity.
Flexibility to manage competing priorities and shift focus as determined by changing needs of the business.
Ability to translate product, trend, and merchandising information/strategies into marketable product messages.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills and ability to form effective partnerships across cross-functional teams.
Extremely flexible, detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with leadership skills.
High comfort level with and ability to powerfully present / garner buy in from senior leadership team members.
Experience with and passion for creative development and effectively briefing in and working with creative teams.
Strong project management skills, including demonstrated track record in managing complex projects.
Analytical but able to go beyond the data: you can derive key insights from a variety of data points and sources and put them into context to get to the “so what”.
Love a challenge and are self-driven: you thrive under pressure and can very quickly become a subject matter expert on any subject through self-drive.
Exceptional communicator: you can clearly communicate complex ideas through different mediums; you are able to build relationships quickly.
Humble and a great team player: you are constantly trying to learn from others, and you have a flexible approach that enables strong collaboration with cross-functional partners; you have a can-do attitude and will roll up your sleeves to do what is needed for the team.
Ability to manage expectations of supervisor, other functional groups, and agency partners.
Strong persuasion skills to gain alignment where needed.
3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in cpg brand management, beauty, personal care.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
