Responsible for prospecting and growing new health systems market share.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key prospect decision makers and communicate effectively with health system senior level management up to c-suite level.
Drive comprehensive sales strategies that incorporate solutions and services across our portfolio to provide innovative and meaningful offerings.
Strategize with others in our organization to leverage their health systems relationships.
Collaborate with field sales and national accounts to ensure alignment throughout the enterprise.
Work with finance and other internal stakeholders to develop proposals that meet the health system’s and amerisourcebergen’s needs.
Ensure detailed and accurate pipeline and prospect information.
May be required to complete and receive a passing score on defined certification course(s) as determined by senior health systems sales management.
Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor`s degree or equivalent work experience
Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience
Demonstrates board room acumen
Understands health system supply chain trends and operating assumptions
Proven track record of leading large, integrated sales to large ihns and gpos
Excellent negotiation skills
Superior analytical skills relative to financial modeling; fluent in profitability calculations
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
Role requires up to 50% travel
