This key role is responsible for execution of the company`s regional external communications strategy, to increase lixil’s brand awareness and improve its reputation among key external audiencesThe scope of this role is broad and encompasses media relations, brand building, executive communications, digital and social media, events, content-led communications, employer branding, and marketing communicationsTo be effective in this leadership role, you will bring demonstrated communications expertise, ability to collaborate, scale, and operate globally, and demonstrated familiarity with modern communication strategies that will drive lixil’s regional business and corporate brand growthYou will oversee a high volume of projects with an agile approach and be able to navigate through a fast-moving internal and external environmentResponsibilities: key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the execution of a multi-channel external communications plan that increases brand visibility of lixil with key audiences including employees, media, customers, industry and trade organizations, and government officials
Develop content calendar and production plan that amplifies thought leadership and company news through earned media, sponsored posts and company publications.
Work with leadership and agency partners on media relations strategy and manage news flow, including directing agency partners and overseeing proactive and reactive opportunities, typically with trade, consumer and regional publications.
Develop original content to propel the corporate brand narrative, including, but not limited to press releases, bylines, media pitches, social posts, paid editorial placements, executive talking points, award submissions, blogs infographics and videos.
Work with social agency and collaborate with peers to develop social media strategy, including editorial planning, process planning and governanceManage growth of the company’s presence on these channels through the development of channel-by-channel strategies and plans.
Promote executive visibility where appropriate and assist business to amplify personal brand social channel presence.
Collaborate with the communications team to develop clear communication plans for growth; measure and communicate outcomes
Support colleagues with internal communications strategy and execution, including company-wide meeting planning, town halls, digital communications
Support executives and others on announcements, function and program communications
Prepare voice-of-the-ceo talking points, press quotes and other materials
Manage and maximize the company’s sponsorships and corporate social responsibility
Manage the company’s crisis communications activities
Develop and present communication key performance indicators (kpis) on a regular basis
7+ years of related experience required
Agency experience preferred
Demonstrated success leading projects, campaigns, and other initiatives in corporate brand development, public relations, social media, web, media and event planning and crisis communications.
Excellence in external communications best practices, standards and vehiclesStrong and impactful storytelling approach.
Demonstrated familiarity with digital communications and commtech
Advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills, along with a focus on rapid and flawless execution delivering against deadlines.
Thought leadership: a collaborator with strong influencing skills to ensure stakeholders implement plans and deliver results
People leadership: experience in managing stakeholders and leading project teams.

Effective communicator: a track record of creating and effectively presenting to executives and peersAbility to quickly develop compelling, high-quality analyses, content and presentations and advise others how to do so
Ability to influence: can drive change and succeed in a matrixed organization, understand priorities, and manage multiple tracks of business
Experience in international markets, specifically asia and europe is preferred but not required
Metrics driven with hands-on experience with analytic and tracking tools for media and social engagement
