Responsibilities:
Ability to translate technology functionality into process improvementsUse of power bi, oracle, and hyperion and how those tools might be better utilized within the finance group.
Analyzes data, conducts research, identifies trends, conducts business plan analyses and feasibility studies as it relates to new opportunities in fundraising in the futureParticularly around the climate crisis and sustainability initiatives for the organization.
Provides support for projects and operations including, but not limited to analyses, reporting, budget, and scheduling.
Conducts risk, resource, cost-benefit, variance, impact and/or other complex analysis.
Lead in testing of processes to ensure accuracy and limit risk to the organizationMainly, but not limited to, honoring of donor intent and recording of fundraising revenue.
Develops metrics for and monitors performance of unit, organization, initiatives and/or business operations.
Develops complex modeling and reporting tools or other systems for monitoring and analyzing performance or data.
May lead, monitor, or provide guidance to department staff or project team members.
Typically has project and/or unit-specific responsibilities within the scope of the job.
Senior financial analyst must demonstrate the following:

Qualifications:
Education - 4 years college degree - finance, accounting, data science, or related field
Experience - 5 years minimum - finance, accounting, data science, or related field
Cpa or data science certification is preferred but not required
Audit experience preferred
Strong skills with various microsoft office products (excel and word) are essentialExperience using power bi is also required.
Experience using large scale automated financial systems (such as oracle), planning tools (such as hyperion), data warehouse and query tools (such as business objects/webi) desired but not required.
Occasional business travel may be required.
