Job summary
Amazon is seeking a predictive maintenance (pdm) specialist for our reliability & maintenance engineering (rme) team to support the implementation and sustainment of amazon monitronThis position is responsible for developing and leading the predictive maintenance activities that will have a direct impact on equipment uptime, efficiency, cost management, quality, safety, customer satisfaction, innovation, and ultimately profitability.
The pdm specialist will work to enhance our predictive maintenance capabilities to deliver improved equipment reliability, decrease unscheduled repair and maintenance time, and develop strategies to drive lower maintenance costsIn short, drive the maintenance teams to perform the right maintenance at the right time based on real time data and with minimum downtime impact to operations.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and continuously improve program standards for predictive maintenance and monitron to drive better equipment reliability
Responsible in project management (project quality, costs and time schedules) of monitron
Partner with engineering and startup teams to implement improvements to the predictive maintenance program
Schedule and conduct predictive maintenance and monitron training
Identify focus area for the reliability team to work on based on data from the predictive program and monitron alarms
Analyze operations data and equipment performance for trends and determine an improvement plan
Deep dive low performance of key process indicators (kpis) and provide details for weekly business review (wbr)
Perform audits to identify data quality issues within the predicative maintenance and monitron program
Technical writing for formal documents, including white papers, network communications, change requests and bulletins
Represent the team during office hours and standard cadence meetings
Provide, deliver and manage condition-based monitoring programs in new launch and retrofit sites
Develop maintenance benchmarking standards for the monitron program in order to drive improvements
Partner with site leadership groups to coordinate maintenance activities in support of condition-based monitoring
Travel up to 50% domestically
Master`s degree or master`s in business administration (mba)
Experience with lean/six sigma methodologies
Experience in material handling systems (mhs) installation, operation and maintenance, use of computerized maintenance management system (cmms), & preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
Experience with microsoft excel, word, powerpoint and outlook
Experience using predictive maintenance or prescriptive maintenance technologies
