Job summary
Amazon web services (aws) is looking for a technical customer success manager who possesses a unique balance of business expertise, artificial intelligence (ai) and machine learning (ml) depth, and strong customer relationship management skillsThis role will work with customers across industries using aws ai/ml to enhance their business or operational outcomes by driving adoption of ml as a business transformation strategy.
Your broad responsibilities include forming long-term relationships with customers focused on broad ml transformation, be their single point of contact, and coordinate delivery of ml services across awsYou should be comfortable managing customer accounts and leading a discussion of complex business concepts with cross-functional groups which can include business executives, line managers, data scientists, as well as it operations resourcesIn addition, you will engage with other aws service teams, solutions architects, business development, marketing, partners and regional professional services organizations to drive a large and highly complex ml transformation strategy (mlts) developed by you in coordination with the customer.
You will evangelize aws ai/ml and be a trusted ml advisor to large enterprise customersYou will enjoy working with customers, listening to their business objectives and translating those into a concrete mlts using aws services that have business impactYou will have a passion for educating and ideating on ml-based solutions for a diverse and challenging set of customer problems across industriesYou will work across mlsl services, mlsl proserve teams, and other teams to guide business outcomes to program deliverables, including production deployed models, an ml operations (mlops) architecture, and greater horizontal and vertical adoption of ml within the customer’s accountYou will also be responsible for collecting metrics about the customer’s long-term business outcomes related to the mlts, creating quantifiable evidence for customers to understand the transformative power of ml.
You will also have a strong understanding of large-scale ai/ml solutions and business transformation with ai/mlThe ideal candidate will have past experience working as technical account manager, customer success manager, ml practitioner, analytics delivery lead, or industry executive and have an appreciation of the advantages of cloud computingYou will enjoy keeping your existing business and ai/ml skills honed and developing new ones, so you can make strong contributions to deep business discussions.

Key job responsibilities
Ensure customer success in defining and launching an ml transformation strategy to drive ai/ml on the aws platform
Educate customers on the value proposition of aws ai/ml and lead deep business discussions to identify business problems and develop a transformation strategy across technologies, disciplines, and teams to enable broad strategic adoption of ai/ml on aws
Build deep relationships with customer business and technical leaders to enable them to be aws ai/ml advocates
Lead workshops with customer leaders to identify ai/ml opportunities
Author or otherwise contribute to aws customer-facing publications such as read-outs
Act as a business liaison between customers, services, data scientists and support
