We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced service desk analystThis role on our team provides front-line customer support for hardware and software issues.
This role is located at our corporate office in nashvilleThe right candidate will have the ability to work in a hybrid remote / onsite capacity.
Provide front-line customer support for hardware and software issues;
Prioritize tasks and log issues into service desk issue tracking software;
Install new equipment, and support and troubleshoot pcs, printers, copiers, fax machines, telephones and scanners for employees;
Install upgrades to existing equipment as needed;
Support service desk environment fielding systems questions;
Support application, connectivity, and security issues with the internet portal applications;
Regular and reliable attendance;
Other responsibilities as assigned by srDirector, service desk.
Knowledge and skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorilyThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Advanced knowledge of windows operating systems including xp, 7, 8.1 & 10;
Excellent pc skills including knowledge of ms office, outlook and sharepoint technologies and other common desktop applications;
Familiarity with active directory;
Experience supporting various peripheral equipment including printers, scanners and copiers;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be comfortable in a work-from-home environment;
Must meet company basic standards for working remotely.
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline or 4+ years’ experience as detailed above;
2+ years’ help desk experience;
Support of webex meetings;
Support of remote users across the u.s.;
A+, mcp, n+ or similar industry certification highly preferred;
Itil foundations certification or an understanding of itil principles is preferred.
