Job description the content marketing specialist will report to the director of marketing and be a key member of the content team within the marketing department.
The right candidate will have excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detailThis role will mainly focus on digital content: emails, webpages, google ads, social media, blog posts, and moreHowever, you may be tasked with writing all types of marketing channels as needed, including marketing collateral, internal communications, case studies, white papers, webinar presentations, and speaker presentationsIf you thrive working within a close-knit and collaborative team, we`d love to talk with youFor consideration, along with your application please provide a link to your portfolio and/or attach 3-5 relevant work samples.
Candidates must be located in the dc/md/va area or flThis is a remote opportunity with occasional travel to the office post covid-19.
A day in the life:
Write and edit website copy, blog posts, email content, product sheets, and other digital and print collateral and communications
Prepare, format, and edit presentations and other marketing materials
Translate complex technical concepts into concise and engaging content
Proofread and edit all marketing copy to ensure brand standards are met
Write clear, compelling copy for external- and internally-facing campaigns and assets of multiple formats
Understand, internalize, and help evolve the alertus brand as expressed in copy and ideas
Partner with internal stakeholders to generate ideas and deliver assets aligned to business goals
What you`ll need:
Ba/bs in english, marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent experience
2-4 years of experience in an enterprise marketing position
Experience in education, healthcare, or government sectors is preferred
Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills
Strong understanding of seo and how to integrate keywords into copy, as well as the ability to conduct keyword research on relevant and high-performing search terms
Familiarly with ap style
Ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities while still maintaining the highest standard of quality and unfailing attention to detail
