Full job description
Carbon is looking for a skilled techno functional oracle financial cloud administrator to join our team and share their expertise in oracle cloud applicationsThe individual will support all activities associated with carbon’s implementation of oracle’s erp cloud applicationsCarbon implemented oracle’s erp cloud applications in 2017, and is currently focused on continuous improvements to the implemented modules (ap, ar, gl, fa, cm, inter-company & e-biz tax )This role will focus on supporting the business users in their daily processes, as well as identifying opportunities for improvements in all erp related processes.
The ideal candidate is looking for a new challenge and enjoys working cross-functionally to solve problemsThey have a strong understanding of corporate finance processes and can identify and resolve configuration issuesThe candidate will have the opportunity to work with project teams which work on system improvementsThey have a positive attitude and take pride in delivering a quality product to their customers.
Responsibilities
Work with carbon’s business users to identify areas for improvement in oracle’s erp cloud applications
Work with carbon’s business users to troubleshoot issues involving oracle’s erp cloud applications
Identify processes which can be improved or enhanced by automation and work with carbon’s system automation team to implement automated processes
Be a trusted advisor to carbon’s business users regarding oracle erp best practices
Create support requests with oracle, and work with oracle support towards resolution
Work with oracle support team to achieve fast turn-around of srs
Communicate effectively with carbon internal teams and external partners
Support upgrade testing and validation efforts
Create documentation as appropriate as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 7-8 years’ experience implementing & supporting oracle cloud erp applications
Strong understanding of finance concepts, accounting, and workflows
Strong understanding of the interdependencies between supply chain and financials, especially as they relate to hardware, subscriptions and/or capital equipment, a plus.
Prior experience working with oracle ebs financials preferred
Ability to identify and analyze business challenges and recommend solutions utilizing oracle’s cloud applications
Ability to explain the interconnectedness of data within oracle’s erp cloud applications
Experience working with oracle support team
Strong sql and pl/sql skills a plus
Experience creating templates in bi publisher
Ability to prioritize work and issues
Attention to detail
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills
Ability to work in a team environment and interact well with employees at all organizational levels
