We are looking for a business development manager (non-linear sales) to be part of the global selling team within amazon servicesThis person will have the exciting opportunity to help deliver on a strategy to enable broad use of amazon services by small/medium sellers and large enterprises in india wishing to sell globally, and play a key role in influencing product selection on global amazon websitesThis role is focused on the strategic and operational aspects of recruiting sellers at scale for the amazon global selling programThis role will be a combination of business development - entailing identification, due diligence and assistance in onboarding of new sellers - and account management – advising on formulation of joint business plans, seller growth strategies, seller compliance / quality control and execution of the sameYou must possess strong relationship-building skills and be able to explore win-win opportunities with sellers in order to best represent our products and programs.
You will be responsible for developing and managing both internal and external relationships with the goal of growing the amazon marketplace seller businessYou should be comfortable with balancing multiple priorities, developing and assist in executing marketing plans to be finalized by amazon marketplaces, reaching out to the sellers for educating them on amazon’s offerings and resolution of their queries, working with internal and external sellers, as well as strategically analyzing data to enable amazon marketplaces to take informed decisions.

Role and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and ecommerce challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
Design and assist partner teams/agencies for implementation of gtm strategy for seller recruitment for the assigned territories
Assist partner teams/agencies in onboarding sellers and resolution of queries raised if any.
Consult and coach partner teams/agencies to grow and deliver results.
Develop and manage processes for scalable growth of the channel in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Track, monitor and improve performance of sellers and the channelProvide inputs for strategic conversations with sellers and navigate complex relationships.
Deliver on input and output goals as per the annual operating plan.

This position is based in bangalore, india and will require travel.

• mba from a reputed institute • experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desired• sales consulting experience in channel sales domain is preferred• relevant experience in developing channel programs or working with small business merchants• experience with e-commerce, retail or process operations would be an advantageUnderstanding of cross border trade e-commerce desired• demonstrated analytical ability, prior experience with external customer interaction• entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment• possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a positive “can-do” attitude • highly proficient in microsoft office, windows based applications • knowledge of advanced excel, sql is a plus.
