Purpose of the job
To formulate and execute talent strategies, hr projects and drive leadership development at all levels for alstom india

Responsibilities
Talent development
Coordinate and ensure consistent & qualitative deployment and output of the people management cycle and all talent management processes (identification, assessment & development)
Closely work with hrbps, head talent management to arrive at proper development plans for talents, propose and execute practical & innovative solutions on developmental action plans – push, follow-up, escalate to make this happen
Contribute for the preparation of annual people review process, consolidate, periodically monitor, and facilitate people review action plans for timely implementation
Conduct talent forums, resourcing forum, career navigation workshops and contribute to promote internal mobility
Ensure the transparency and fluidity of the country’s internal job market
Conduct career reviews with key talents and work on idp’s
Execute new initiatives in talent management and l&d in line with overall business strategy and direction
Drive the communication campaign for building the employer brand
Support for any certifications and award applications that the organization participates in, including support for audits
Support and monitor various strategies deployed in businesses for employee engagement and retention
Diversity & inclusion
Work with the local d&i champions, help nominate members for d&i committee for india
Support the d&i champions in driving the d&i related events for india, based on the global and regional focus on various topics for the year
Drive completion of posh related training- “respectful workplace” for all sites, businesses and functions
Work with the l&d team to include training sessions related to diversity and inclusion, unconscious bias, etcIn the quarterly training calendar
Employer branding
Work with the global tm and india communications team to develop and deploy appropriate branding material
Work with the talent acquisition team to create and deploy appropriate branding strategies for campus drives conducted for hiring and create awareness about alstom as an employer of choice
Work with businesses to launch specific, targeted communication on linkedin and any other media/ platform
Engagement and culture
Understand and promote alstom culture and support in promotion of alstom values and code of ethics
Plan & execute various hr and development-related projects
Work closely with business to promote diversity and mobility programs
Support teams in driving strong leadership and collective responsibility
Mandatory:
12 -15 years’ experience in human resources function out of which 2-3 years preferably in handling talent development / od function.
Experience of training and development concepts for all levels in the organization.
Experience of having managed a virtual team (indirect subordinates) and knowledge of how to motivate and engage them.
Knowledge of working in a shared services hr environment in a matrix structure
